What is PDA? Why PDA is take to concern?
PDA is a form of non-verbal communication.PDA or known as PDOA is a form of physical intimacy for the view of others.
What are acceptable displays of affection vary between cultures as well as to time and context. Which acts are acceptable have also varied over time. Displays of affection in a public place, such as the street, are more likely to be objected to, than similar practices in a private place with only with people that from the same background.Mild forms of Physical intimacy, such as holding hands, hugging or kissing, are regarded as unobjectionable forms of public displays of affection in many cultures and contexts, but objectionable in others. Maintaining eye contact can be regarded socially and psychologically as analogous to touching in some cultures.PDA should be something that is sweet but to keep under the correct level of affection.
So why do PDA is take to concern? How did you react with PDA?
Public display of affection is not offensive and are harmful if it is still in appropiate level. But sometimes the PDA can be very offensive especially to family especially the family with young children ,offensive to some community according to their beliefs and culture. So how do you react with PDA?
Offer a wink and a smile. If you see a couple giving each other a quick hug, a warm acknowledgment is appropriate.
Ignore it. If you witness a couple sharing a quick kiss, there isn't much for you to do but keep on about your business. A quick kiss shouldn't be offensive to anyone.
Turn your back. A prolonged kiss is a different story. If the couple's public display of affection involves long passionate kissing, that is something that is a little more uncomfortable for the average mall walker. Clear your throat as you walk by. Hopefully it will remind the couple that they are in a public place and should relegate that behavior to a private place.
Advise the couple to get a room. When a couple is kissing passionately and groping each other just shy of full-blown lovemaking, their behavior is inappropriate in public--and particularly offensive in front of children. Remind them that this is not the place for such a display. Be prepared for possible consequences. Since the couple doesn't think twice of such a public display, they may not think twice about being disagreeable and telling you to mind your own business.
